After spending much of 2017 focussing on their 60’s garage rock influenced LP, ‘Living Given’, Bones and Jones have come out with their latest single ‘Social Anxiety’, accompanied by B side ‘Baggy Frown’. The music expels the bands love for the raw sounds of latter Beatles Albums, this influence being a huge contributor to the music on the single.
‘Social Anxiety’ was recorded by the band in one session, at a music shop in Geelong, later mixed and mastered by Barrett Guzaldo. The title track further explores the charming vintage vibe of ‘Living Given’, although this time adding fuzzy overtones to the mix. ‘Baggy Frown’ contrasts with the A side, with more of a barefoot wander through singer Jasper Jolley’s psyche.
